About the role
We care about the details: load times, keyboard navigation, how a component behaves when the connection is slow. You'll work directly with our designers on projects that ship to paying clients. Not internal tools or mock data. Actual sites with traffic on them, where a broken button matters.
What you'll do
- Turn Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build and maintain PHP-based pages and reusable UI components
- Keep pages fast — Core Web Vitals scores matter to the clients we work with
- Work closely with designers and push back when something isn't buildable the way they drew it
- Review code from other developers and hold the team to consistent standards
What we're looking for
- 2+ years building for the web, not just learning it
- Solid HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript
- Experience with PHP or at least one server-side language
- Comfortable with Git
- A feel for how responsive layouts should behave, not just which CSS property to use
Nice to have
- React or Vue.js
- Tailwind CSS
- Basic understanding of SEO and how HTML structure affects it
