About the role
This role covers everything before a developer writes a line of code. Research, user flows, wireframes, and the Figma files that developers actually work from. You'll present directly to clients, not through an account manager, and you'll handle the revision rounds yourself. If you need someone to filter client feedback before it reaches you, this probably isn't the right fit.
What you'll do
- Run user research, map flows, and wireframe new features before anyone opens Figma
- Design high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for web and mobile
- Build and maintain design systems that developers can use without calling you
- Stay in the process until the implementation matches the design
- Present work to clients, take the notes, and iterate
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in UI/UX design with a portfolio that shows it
- Figma, to the point where it doesn't slow you down
- Real web and mobile projects in your portfolio, not just conceptual work
- Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Ability to explain design decisions in terms clients understand
Nice to have
- Motion design or micro-interaction work
- Enough HTML and CSS to have a real conversation with developers
- Experience designing right-to-left or Arabic-language interfaces
