Tarqeyah Team App Privacy

Who this app is for

Tarqeyah gives this app to its employees and authorised staff to do their work: managing leads and clients, logging site visits, handling WhatsApp conversations with customers, tracking projects, and getting work notifications. Tarqeyah creates and manages the accounts. There is no public sign-up, and the app is not meant for customers or the general public.

What the app accesses, and why

Your account. When you sign in, the app identifies you by your name, email and role so it can show the right screens and record who did what. Your session is protected by a code sent to your email (two-factor) and, optionally, by Face ID or your fingerprint on your own device.

Precise location. When you log a site visit, and only then, the app reads your GPS location once while the app is open, so a manager can see the visit really happened where it was logged. The app never tracks your location in the background.

Camera and photos. The app uses the camera to take proof photos of a place you visit, and can attach an image you choose for social-media content. Photos you capture or pick are uploaded to Tarqeyah's own servers for that purpose only.

Contacts. If you choose to share a contact inside a WhatsApp conversation, the app opens your phone's contact picker so you can select one. It only reads the single contact you pick, and only to send it in that chat.

Notifications. With your permission, the app registers a device token with Firebase Cloud Messaging so Tarqeyah can send you work notifications (tasks, approvals, messages, reminders). The token identifies the device, not your personal identity.

Face ID / fingerprint. Biometric unlock is handled entirely by your device. Your biometric data never leaves your phone and is never sent to or seen by Tarqeyah.

What we do not do

The app shows no advertising, contains no third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and does not sell or share your data with anyone. All data flows only between the app and Tarqeyah's own systems over encrypted HTTPS.

Where data is stored and how long

Work data you enter (visits, notes, messages, project items) is stored on Tarqeyah's servers as part of the company's records and kept for as long as the business needs it, subject to any legal retention duties under Bahraini law. The bearer token and any biometric credentials are stored only in your device's secure keychain / keystore and are cleared when you sign out or turn biometric sign-in off.

Your account and deleting it

Because accounts belong to Tarqeyah and are tied to your employment, you cannot self-register. To have your account and its personal data removed, use "Request account deletion" inside the app (Profile), or email hello@tarqeyah.com. We will remove your account and personal data, keeping only records we are legally required to retain (such as financial records).

Security

Access needs a valid account, a session token, and (unless you are on a remembered device) an emailed one-time code. Traffic is encrypted in transit. If you suspect a problem, contact us immediately at hello@tarqeyah.com.
